(3.0 Units) (No prerequisite. Two lecture and three laboratory hours weekly.) This course will provide introductory knowledge and experience with modeling and animation as it applies to multimedia. Modeling is the computer generation of a wide range of object types from machine components to organic forms. Animation is the creation of three-dimensional objects and environments from the imagination of the creator. (CSU)
