This course deals with the history of philosophy from the end of the eighteenth century to the contemporary period. It treats the continental metaphysicians (Kant, the German Idealists, and reactions against them, Marxism and Existentialism), American Pragmatism, Anglo American philosophy, and Deconstruction.
