(3.0 Units) (Prerequisite: Spanish 101 or 120. Three lecture hours weekly.) This is the second semester continuation course for those health care professionals who have achieved a basic level of proficiency and wish to communicate more effectively with their Spanish-speaking patients. Emphasis is placed on communication. Each lesson is accompanied by a set of listening exercises. Students may receive continuing education units for this course. (CSU)
