(3.0 Units) (No prerequisite. Three lecture hours weekly.) This introductory course covers the purposes of appraisals, the appraisal process, and the different approaches, methods, and techniques used to determine the value of various property types. This course is one of the acceptable electives for obtaining a Real Estate Sales license and is also one of the eight courses required to sit for the Real Estate Broker's Exam. Specific course content is applicable towards Real Estate Appraiser Licensing (check with real estate instructors for content and subject categories based on Office of Real Estate Appraiser's requirements.
