(1.0 Unit) (No prerequisite. One lecture hour weekly.) This course is designed specifically for students with learning disabilities. It is designed to teach college level study techniques to students with learning problems so that they can succeed in college. Major topics include setting goals, managing time, improving concentration and memory, taking notes, organizing study materials, reading textbooks, dealing with test anxiety, and preparing for and taking essay and multiple choice tests. This course is repeatable for credit.
