(3.0 Units) (Prerequisite: Music 212 or concurrent enrollment in Music 211. Three lecture hours weekly.) Individualized instruction in art music composition. Students will work at their own pace on assignments of their choice. The class will meet as a group to listen to compositions by students as well as other composers. Students are expected to complete several small or one large composition during the semester. May be taken four times for credit. (CSU/UC)
