Banner Title: Art Appreciation This course explores human creativity through the study of the visual arts (architecture, sculpture, and painting) within a cultural and historical context. The course provides a foundation for art appreciation by introducing students to the aesthetic, critical, and technical aspects of the major art forms and media. The course increases students' perceptual awareness and responsiveness to artthrough discussion, critical writing, special projects, and/or in-class experiments with various media.
