Banner Title: Intro to Cosmetology Theory This course introduces students to the fundamental theory and practices of the cosmetology profession. Instructors emphasize professional practices and safety. Topics include state and local laws, rules, and regulations; professional image; bacteriology; decontamination and infection control; chemistry fundamentals; safety; Hazardous Duty Standards Act (HDSA) compliance; and anatomy and physiology.
