Banner Title: Pharmacology This course introduces the physiologic and pharmacologic basis of pulmonary and cardiac medications. Students will study the preparation, calculation of dosages, and mixtures. Students also study the general principles of pharmacology. Topics include drug preparation, dosage calculation, mixture preparation, pharmacology principles, bronchoactive drugs, and cardiopulmonary system-related drugs. ACLS certification is completed in this course. Prerequisites: BIO 193 with a grade of C or better, BIO 194 with a grade of C or better, BIO 197 with a grade of C or better, CHM 191 with a grade of C or better, MAT 190 with a grade of C or better or MAT 191 with a grade of C or better or MAT 196 with a grade of C or better, PHY 190 with a grade of C or better, RTT 193 with a grade of C or better Corequisite: RTT 112 Offered Summer term
