Banner Title: Pathology II This course surveys a variety of diseases commonly treated by physical therapist assistants with emphasis on neurological conditions. Students study the adjustments to physical and psychosocial aspects of illness and injury. Topics include review of neurology, neurological disorders and diseases, traumatic head injuries, spinal cord injuries and peripheral nerve injuries, tumors, respiratory system disorders, circulatory system disorders, and endocrine disorders. Prerequisites: PTA 201 with a grade of C or better, PTA 202 with a grade of C or better, PTA 203 with a grade of C or better, PTA 204 with a grade of C or better Corequisites: PTA 206, PTA 209 Offered Fall term
