Banner Title: Principles of Surgical Tech This course provides continued study of surgical team participation by introducing case preparation and procedures and creation and maintenance of the sterile field. Topics include surgical supplies, accessory equipment, wound management, surgery principles, minimal invasive surgery, and outpatient surgical procedures. Students must pay a $25 supply fee when registering for this course. Prerequisites: SUR 101 with a grade of C or better, SUR 108 with a grade of C or better, SUR 109 with a grade of C or better, SUR 110 with a grade of C or better Corequisite: SUR 112 Offered Spring term
