Banner Title: Intro Surgical Practicum This course orients students to the clinical environment and provides experience with basic skills necessary to surgical technologists. Topics include scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and draping; assistance with patient care; processing of instruments and supplies; maintenance of a sterile field; basic instrumentation; and environmental sanitation.
