Banner Title: Therapeutic Exercise I Program faculty provide instruction in the physiological effects of exercise. This course includes demonstration and practice of common therapeutic exercises for neck, shoulder, arm, hand, back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Instructors introduce traditional therapeutic exercises, including active, active assistive, and passive range of motion. Course content introduces activities of daily living training and basic gait training skills and techniques. Prerequisites: PTA 103 with a grade of C or better, PTA 104 with a grade of C or better Corequisites: PTA 201, PTA 203 Offered Summer term
