Banner Title: Intro to Surgical Technology This course provides an overview of the sur gical technology profession and develops the fundamental concepts and principles necessary to participate on a surgical team. Topics include orientation to surgical technology, asepsis and the surgical environment, principles of the sterilization process, basic instrumentation and equipment, and application of sterilization principles. Students must pay a $25 supply fee when registering for this course.
