Banner Title: Animal Anatomy and Physiology This course provides an overview of the functional anatomy and physiology of domestic animals commonly encountered in veterinary medicine. Course content emphasizes the parts and functions of the systems of the animal body and associated medical terminology. Topics include musculoskeletal system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, integumentary system, hematopoietic system, respiratory system, urogenital system, nervous system, endocrine system, and the special senses. Students must pay a $25 supply fee when registering for this course. Prerequisites for Winter 2009: BIO 191 with a grade of C or better, VET 101 with a grade of C or better Prerequisite beginning Fall 2009: Program admission Corequisite beginning Fall 2009: VET 101 Offered Winter 2009, Fall term thereafter
