Banner Title: Surgical Patient Care This course introduces a complex diversity of surgical patients. Topics include physiological diversities and needs, special patient needs, preoperative routine, intraoperative patient care, surgical emergencies, documentation and assessment skills, postoperative patient care, and care of the caregiver. Students must pay a $10 supply fee when registering for this course.
