Units 4; Class Hours: Minimum of 64 lecture/16 by arrangement lab hours/semester; Prerequisite(s): ESL 842 or 852, or placement by College ESL Placement Test. Description: Introduces students to writing in response to readings at the high-intermediate level. Special attention is paid to comprehension, the grammar and mechanics of written academic English, vocabulary development and paragraph writing. Units do not apply toward AA/AS degree.
