Units 4; Class Hours: Minimum of 64 lecture/16 by arrangement lab hours/semester; Prerequisite(s): ESL 841 or 851, or placement by College ESL Placement Test. Description: Introduces students to low intermediate practice in writing in response to readings in English. Special attention is paid to the grammar and mechanics of written academic English. Comprehension and vocabulary development are also stressed. Units do not apply toward AA/AS degree.
