Description: Pattern development and construction of historical costumes, from the middle ages to the beginning of the twentieth century. Learn how to apply the principles of modern pattern making to various historical styles and use this knowledge to design and create historical costumes. The unique cut and construction of each historical period is covered, along with undergarments and accessories necessary for each period. Transfer: CSU.
