(CAN PHYS 2) (CAN PHYS SEQ A = PHYS 210 + 220) Units 4; Class Hours: Minimum of 48 lecture/48 lab/32 by arrangement lab hours/semester; Recommended: Eligibility for READ 836, and ENGL 836 or ESL 400; Prerequisite(s): MATH 130 or equivalent. Description: Covers basic concepts of physics, including the nature of physics, mechanics, elasticity and simple harmonic motion, waves and sound, fluids, heat and temperature, and the kinetic theory of gases.
