Description: This course provides an introduction to the theory, basic principles, and methods of oral communication, with emphasis on improving speaking and listening skills within the context of interpersonal communication. The readings and class activities provide both theoretical and practical considerations of the behaviors which facilitate or block successful attempts at private discourse.
