Description: The student learns to plan, organize, support and arrange short writing exercises, ranging from one paragraph to the five paragraph essay. Special attention is given to grammatical and mechanical conventions. Students are introduced to the major nonfiction writing types. Units do not apply toward AA/AS degree.
