Prerequisites: ENG 080 and RED 080; or ENG 085 This course uses whole language to strengthen proficiency in reading and writing for college. Emphasis is placed on applying critical reading skills to narrative and expository texts and on using the writing process. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend, analyze, and evaluate college texts and to compose essays in preparation for college writing. This course integrates ENG 090 and RED 090. This course satisfies the developmental reading and writing for ENG 111 and ENG 111A. S12996
