Prerequisites: ENG 070 and RED 070, or ENG 075 This course uses whole language to develop proficiency in reading and writing for college. Emphasis is placed on applying analytical and critical reading skills to a variety of texts and on introducing the writing process. Upon completion, students should be able to recognize and use various patterns of text organization and compose effective paragraphs. This course integrates ENG 080 and RED 080. This course does not satisfy the developmental reading and writing for ENG 111 or ENG 111A. S10797
