(175 clock hours, 6 occupational credits) F, S The purpose of this course is to enable the student to gain the skills needed to demonstrate intermediate ability in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is commonly referred to as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG). Participants in this class will fi rst become familiar with the skills needed for brazing and soldering. Lab fee. Pass with a D or better. Prerequisite: PMT 0123C.
