(90 clock hours, 3 occupational credits) F, SP Development of knowledge and skill in molding, setting, pin curls, roller curls, press styling, iron curling, hot combs, and blower techniques. Includes study of artistry in hair styling, style client, for both male and female, safety precautions, related anatomy and physiology. Study of the types of wigs and hair pieces, methods of cleaning, styling, shaping, and conditioning, for males and females if student desires. Lab fee. Pass with a C or better. Prerequisite: TABE. Corequisite: COS 0301C, COS 0510C, CSP 0010C.
