(3 credits) Introduction to programming using the PASCAL language. Involves a variety of problem-solving techniques in the PASCAL language using computer lab facilities. Involves top-down program design, loops, arrays, lists and tables, searching and sorting techniques, functions, text processing, fi le manipulation, and simulation techniques. Lab fee. Prerequisite: MAT 0024 with a C or better and COP 1000 may be taken concurrently.
