(3 credits) MC An introduction to the varieties of customs and to the patterns of social and cultural life of humankind. It is the study of behavior that is learned rather than genetically transmitted. Major divisions may include anthropology and culture, sociocultural adaptations, and ethnography. This course may be taught in conjunction with a foreign study experience. Prerequisite: REA 0002, ENC 0020 with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test.
