(4 credits) GE A study of the history and processes of the physical features of the Earth, its internal dynamics and its surfi cial weathering, erosion, and sedimentary processes. Laboratory component includes examination of mineral, rock, and fossil specimens, interpretation of topographic maps and aerial photographs. Selected area fi eld trips exemplifying some common geomorphic processes may be involved. Prerequisite: REA 0002 and ENC 0020 with a grade of C or better or score out on appropriate placement test.
