(3 credits) This course prepares students for Freshman Composition. It is an extensive study of paragraph and essay structure, grammar, and punctuation. Graduation to Freshman Composition is contingent upon passing this class with a C or better, and passing the state exit exam. Includes mandatory one hour per week in Learning Lab. Lab fee. Prerequisite: ENC 0010 with a C or better. A CPT score of 60-82. Corequisite: SLS 1101.
