(3 credits) This course studies the developmental changes in language, personality, physical growth, and social life status associated with students in an educational setting. It explores the infl uences on the teacher and the way teachers think about the instructional process. While there are no prerequisites, students should be aware that reading and writing are important parts of the course. Any student scoring into Principles of Reading (REA 0002) and/or Writing (ENC 0020) would be well advised to complete them before attempting this course. Prerequisite: Completion of REA 0002 and ENC 0020 or score out on appropriate placement test.
