This course uses whole language to develop proficiency in basic reading and writing. Emphasis is placed on increasing vocabulary, developing comprehension skills, and improving grammar. Upon completion, students should be able to understand and create grammatically and syntactically correct sentences. This course integrates ENG 070 and RED 070. This course does not satisfy the developmental reading and writing prerequisite for ENG 111 or ENG 111A. S12307
