Prerequisite: POLS 1101 Acquaints the student with institutions and issues surrounding the world political system, including, but not limited to diverse topics such as theories of war, industrial development, international political economy, trade, national security, and terrorism. Current global issues are also explored. Students learn to think both normatively and descriptively. Additionally, the students are afforded a cursory introduction to the discipline of political science.
