This course provides lecture and group discussions to understand and demonstrate proficiency in measuring ankle/brachial pressure ratios; aorta/renal ratios; resistance and pulsatility index; carotid artery ratios; velocity changes in vessels; B-mode measurements including diameter and area, and to identify normal vascular flow patterns and waveform. Topics include: test validation, measurements, and quantitative principles of noninvasive vascular testing and aorta, renal and carotid quantitation.
