Topics include: systems of units and conversion of units; vector algebra; Newtonian mechanics; fluids and thermodynamics; heat; light, and optics; mechanical waves; electricity and magnetism; and modern physics. Laboratory experience supports classroom learning. Computer use is an integral part of class and laboratory assignments.
