This course is designed to introduce students to Spanish, using all four skills: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The culture of Spanish-speaking regions is integrated into the course. Prerequisite: Exit or exemption from Learning Support English and Reading. Not open to native speakers of Spanish. Note: This course will not meet degree requirements at some University System of Georgia institutions. *Satisfies College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) requirement in Foreign Language when cross-referenced as SPAN 1000 but cannot be repeated for credit.
