This course is a continuation of Physical Science I. Topics include: wave motion, electromagnetism, atomic theory, structure of matter, quantum theory and nuclear physics. Also included is a study of man's relationship with his environment, with emphasis on ecological problems. Prerequisite: Exit or exemption from Learning Support Reading and Math. *Satisfies College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) in Science when cross-referenced as PHYS 1010 and PLAB 1010. PHYS 1012 cannot be repeated for credit if taken to satisfy a CPC requirement.
