The purpose of this course is to enable students to plan, organize and conduct a physical education program for children ages birth to five years. Specific guidelines for the physical activity of children of this age will be developed to address the unique characteristics and needs of the developing child. Students will be provided background knowledge about physical education content, movement concepts and skill themes. They will also be provided with fitness concepts that can be taught to children ages birth to five years. Prerequisites: None
