This course provides an introduction to computer structure, machine language instruction, addressing techniques and digital representation of data. Symbolic coding and assembly systems, macro definition and generation, and program segmentation and linkage. Programming assignments to illustrate machine structure and programming techniques. Prerequisite: CSCI 1142, CSCI 1143, CSCI 1146, CSCI 1301 or permission of the instructor.
