This course presents the fundamentals of structure and function in the human organism, cell ultrastructure, specialization and metabolism, with an introduction to systems physiology. Prerequisite: Exit or exemption from Learning Support Reading, English, and Mathematics. (Students with a weak background in biology are urged to complete BIOL 1101; BLAB 1107 and BIOL1108; BLAB 1108 before registering for this course.)
