Class hours: 2.0 Lecture Prerequisite: SPAN 102 or SPAN 112 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. Study of fundamental grammatical principles and sentence structures with drills and translations. (Special emphasis on uses of the Subjunctive and the phonetic rules of the accent.) Writing of short compositions blending creativity with grammatical correctness. An excellent review course for all students. Recommended for Spanish majors. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC
