Class hours: 1.0 Lecture Recommendation: ENGL 52 or JOUR 101 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This course focuses on the preparation of content for newsletters of all professions and special interests. Students will discuss news values in selecting and writing content, writing and editing techniques, and careers in newsletter journalism. Students will gain hands-on experience in choosing, writing and editing content for publication in preparation for the newsletter design. Transfer Credit: CSU
