Class hours: 3.0 Lecture/2.0 Laboratory Recommendation: CIS 70A or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher, or appropriate work experience. This course provides instruction in planning, implementing, and administering a Windows 2003 network infrastructure. Topics include Domain Name System (DNS), Internet Protocol (IP) routing, Network Address Translation (NAT), and Certificate Services. This course covers the knowledge and skills needed for the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification examinations: Implementing, Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (70-291) and Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (70-293), which are part of the core requirements for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
