Class hours: 3.3 Lecture/9.8 Laboratory Prerequisite: COS 51B or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This is an intermediate course in theory as it pertains to cosmetology. Students continue to develop manipulative skills in facial waxing, acrylic nails, acrylic overlays, hair augmentation and to gain knowledge of tricology, dermatology, electricity, hair color, chemistry, health and safety, as they relate to cosmetology. Emphasis is placed on professionalism and client relationships.
