Class hours: 3.0 Lecture/5.0 Laboratory Corequisite: AB 51 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher or prior completion. This course is part of an instructional package for the student who wishes additional knowledge in automotive collision repair. It introduces the student to unitized and space-frame construction, high-strength steel components, chassis design, sheet metal straightening techniques, alignment, and installation of body parts. Also included is safety related to electrical problems, introduction of plastic components and continued welding and metallurgical experience. This course may be taken a maximum of 2 times.
