Class hours: 1.5 Lecture/2.5 Laboratory This course increases the marketable skills for the automotive refinisher in the trade. Emphasis is on color and texture duplication, the use of automotive toners to scratch paint mix and to mix specific colors using formulas and tintometers. It also includes spray-blending techniques, compatibility, troubleshooting of materials, and paint chemistry. This course may be taken a maximum of 3 times.
