Class hours: 2.0 Lecture/4.0 Laboratory This course provides the basic introduction to oriental brush, ink and colors. The student learns concepts in design and composition, as well as the philosophy that is the basis of Chinese brush painting. Subjects include traditional floral and animal studies, and abstract expressions. Techniques for mounting of art work are also studied. This course may be taken for a maximum of 2 times.
