Class hours: 2.0 Lecture/4.0 Laboratory This is a course designed to introduce the student to the art and technique of sculpting the human figure from observation of a live model. Instruction will include structural analysis of the human figure, human anatomy, the use of the elements and principles of sculpture, and techniques of sculpting the figure in modeling materials.
