This is the laboratory component of CHEM 1151. Experimental topics include: basic laboratory techniques, measurement, chemical reactions, reliability of data, the pH scale, buffer solutions, physiologically important ions, acids and bases. Prerequisite/corequisite: CHEM 1151 or permission of the instructor. *Satisfies College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC) in Natural Science when cross-referenced as CHEM 1100. CHEM 1101 cannot be repeated for credit if taken to satisfy aCPC requirement.
