Class hours: 3.0 Lecture Prerequisite: SPAN 282 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This course consists of in-depth oral discussion of cultural topics, including modern family life, the job market, advertising in the business world, pastimes and amusements, economy versus ecology, the world of travel and multiculturalism. Emphasis is on the acquisition of appropriate vocabulary and language patterns, and the creative development of arguments. This course, conducted in Spanish, is recommended for all Spanish majors.
